Lessons for Not Quite Absolute Beginners

Not Quite an Absolute Beginner?

Don’t Know In Which Group To Play?

*Did you complete a Beginner course, and now want to continue to learn and improve in a Duplicate-style environment?

*Did you play in a Beginner group for a while but stopped? Now you want to start playing again?

*Did you play Bridge years ago, and now want get back into the game?

*Do you currently play socially, and now want a more structured playing and learning environment?

Our Advanced Beginner 0-99mp Lesson Games provide a low pressure environment where you can learn and grow as a Bridge player.

These games start with a 10-15 minute lesson on bidding, play or defense.
The lesson is followed by a Duplicate game in which you earn masterpoints.

These lessons review and reinforce the fundamental concepts from our Beginner course, but in more depth. Topics include Opener’s Rebid, Takeout Doubles, 2C Openers, Stayman and Jacoby Transfers, Weak Two Openers and Overcalls, and much more.

These groups are friendly, but there is no tabletalk during the auction and play.
Speed of play is slow-medium. You will play 14-15 boards in 2.5 hours.
